Principal Aisley Adams 

Mrs. Adams


Mrs. Adams is a proud Lumber Jack earning her undergraduate degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and later completing her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Phoenix.  Mrs. Adams began her teaching career in 2007 as an English Language Arts teacher at M.C. Williams Middle School in Houston ISD.  Additionally, she taught at the middle school level in Klein ISD at Ulrich Intermediate as well as having served as an adjunct professor at Lone Star Community College for three years.  In 2014, Mrs. Adams transitioned into an instructional leadership role as a Skills Specialist in Aldine ISD at Eisenhower Ninth Grade; she later moved to Young Women's College Preparatory before becoming a Curriculum Coordinator in Bryan ISD.  Furthermore, Mrs. Adams brings six years of instructional leadership experience to Nimitz Ninth Grade, having served two and a half years as Dean of Instruction at Patrick Henry Middle School.  Mrs. Adams is passionate about teaching and learning and she is a firm believer that all students deserve a quality 21st century education, which includes meeting the social and emotional needs of all learners.



Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction Bertha Day

Ms. Bertha Day

Ms. Day began her teaching career in 2000 as a 1st grade Self-Contained teacher in San Marcos, Texas. School in Manor ISD. Prior to coming She has also taught grades 2nd, 4th 5th and 6th. She also has experience as an Instructional Coach/Master Teacher at the secondary level. In 2009, Ms. Day became an Assistant Principal at Decker Middle to Nimitz 9th, Ms. Day was an Assistant Principal at Luling Junior High in Luling, Texas. Ms. Day brings 7 years of administrative experience to Aldine ISD. She has been an administrator at the elementary, middle school and high school level. Ms. Day graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She also received her first Master of Education in Elementary Education from Southwest Texas State University. Ms. Day has a second master of Education in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.




Assistant Principal of Administration  Jerry Garrett 

Assistant Principal Mr. Garrett

Mr. Garrett is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science.  He obtained his Masters in Education Degree from Prairie View A&M University. Mr. Garrett taught Social Studies for ten years at Aldine ISD’s W.T. Hall Center for Education. Mr. Garrett currently serves as Assistant Principal at Nimitz 9th Grade. Mr. Garrett has been in his current position since 2014.
