Mr. Land is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology.  He earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University. Mr. Land began his career in education as Math teacher and Coach at Oakridge High School in Conroe ISD.  He later moved to Teague Middle School as Career and Technology teacher, department representative and coach.  For the past five years, he has served in a variety of roles at Nimitz Ninth Grade such as ISS Supervisor, Acting Administrator, Assistant Football Coach and Head Boys Track Coach. Mr. Land strongly believes in the power of a quality education and the opportunities it can create for your future.

Ms. Day began her teaching career in 2000 as a 1st grade Self-Contained teacher in San Marcos, Texas. School in Manor ISD. Prior to coming She has also taught grades 2nd, 4th 5th and 6th. She also has experience as an Instructional Coach/Master Teacher at the secondary level. In 2009, Ms. Day became an Assistant Principal at Decker Middle to Nimitz 9th, Ms. Day was an Assistant Principal at Luling Junior High in Luling, Texas. Ms. Day brings 7 years of administrative experience to Aldine ISD. She has been an administrator at the elementary, middle school and high school level. Ms. Day graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She also received her first Master of Education in Elementary Education from Southwest Texas State University. Ms. Day has a second master of Education in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Guerra was raised in Edinburg, Texas. While he was obtaining his bachelor’s of science in chemistry degree, he played division 1 baseball for the University of Texas Pan American as a pitcher. Later, Mr. Guerra received his master’s degree in educational leadership and policy studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.

He has been in the education field for 17 years and taught chemistry and physics.

At home, he is the father of two children: a seven-year-old daughter and a one-month-old son.
